Laboratory Small Nitrogen Generator

A laboratory small nitrogen generator is a compact nitrogen production unit designed for use in research facilities or small-scale industrial applications. These generators are tailored for environments with space constraints or where the demand for nitrogen is modest.
Technology Typically, small nitrogen generators employ either membrane separation technology or Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) to isolate nitrogen from atmospheric air, yielding a high-purity gas supply. These units have minimal power requirements and can operate on standard electrical power or compressed air sources.

Applications in Laboratories In laboratory settings, small nitrogen generators serve multiple purposes:
Providing a reliable gas supply for analytical instruments.
Protecting sensitive experimental samples from oxidation.
Maintaining controlled atmospheres for various experiments.
Their compact size and user-friendly operation make them a popular choice for laboratory use.
In Summary Laboratory nitrogen generators offer a combination of high-purity nitrogen production, adaptability, space-saving design, quiet operation, automated control, and effortless maintenance. They are perfectly suited to meet the high-purity nitrogen demands of laboratory environments.

The air compressor compresses the raw air into high-pressure air, sends it to the air buffer tank to stabilize the pressure, and then further removes moisture, oil mist, etc. through the filter, and freezes and dehydrates through the refrigerated dryer to remove a large amount of moisture, and then enters the third stage. The filter further filters harmful substances, and then the clean compressed air enters from the bottom of the adsorption tower. After the air flow is diffused through the air diffusion device (universal spiral or porcelain ball), it evenly enters the adsorption tower for oxygen and nitrogen adsorption and separation, and then exits from the outlet end. The nitrogen flows out and enters the nitrogen storage tank. This nitrogen production process takes about 1 minute. Afterwards, through pressure equalization and pressure reduction (to normal pressure), the adsorbed impurity components (mainly oxygen) are removed, and the regeneration of the adsorbent is completed. The two adsorption towers operate in alternating cycles, continuously feeding raw air, and continuously producing qualified nitrogen.

    1. Protection of Laboratory Instruments Nitrogen generators supply high-purity nitrogen, which is essential for safeguarding laboratory instruments and equipment from the damaging effects of oxidation and corrosion. This ensures the longevity and reliability of these valuable assets.

    2. Laboratory Analysis In various analytical procedures, nitrogen often serves as a critical carrier or protective gas. A nitrogen generator is capable of delivering the precise nitrogen needed to facilitate these analyses, contributing to accurate and consistent results.

    3. Laboratory Reactions Certain chemical reactions necessitate an oxygen-free or low-oxygen atmosphere to proceed correctly or to prevent unwanted side reactions. Nitrogen generators provide the high-purity nitrogen required to create and maintain such environments, enabling precise experimental conditions.

    4. Cryopreservation For the preservation of sensitive samples or reagents, a nitrogen generator can supply dry nitrogen. This is particularly useful for cryopreservation processes in laboratories, as it helps to prevent contamination and maintain the integrity of stored materials.

In Summary The primary role of nitrogen generators in laboratory settings is to supply high-purity, dry nitrogen. This gas is indispensable for a range of laboratory applications, from the protection and operation of sensitive equipment to the facilitation of precise chemical analyses and reactions. By meeting these needs, nitrogen generators contribute significantly to the efficiency, accuracy, and safety of laboratory work.
