Pure nitrogen cannot be directly induced in nature, and air separation is mainly used. Air separation methods include heart cooling, pressure swing adsorption (PSA) and membrane separation. With the rapid development of industry, nitrogen has been widely used in chemical, electronic, metallurgical, food, machinery and other fields, and my country's nitrogen demand has increased at a rate of more than 8% per year.
The chemical properties of nitrogen are not active. It is very lazy under normal circumstances and is not easy to react chemically with other substances. Therefore, nitrogen is widely used as gas and sealing gas in the metallurgical industry, electronic industry, and chemical industry. Generally, the required amount to maintain the purity of the gas is 99.99%, and some require high-purity nitrogen above 99.998%.
nitrogen is a relatively convenient cold source, and has been increasingly widely used in the fields of food industry, operation, and semen storage in animal husbandry. When the fertilizer industry produces ammonia, the hydrogen and nitrogen mixture of synthetic ammonia is cleaned and refined with pure nitrogen. The gas content is very low, and the content of sulfur oxides and oxygen does not exceed 20ppm.
Liquid nitrogen is nitrogen produced in a deep cold space. Under standard conditions, 1m3 of liquid nitrogen can be gasified into 643m3 of nitrogen, but the actual utilization rate during use is generally around 95%, that is, 1m3 of liquid nitrogen can actually use about 610m3 of nitrogen. The current market price of liquid nitrogen is around 1,000 yuan/m3 on average, and the unit price of nitrogen is 1.67 yuan/m3. When using liquid nitrogen, users must be equipped with liquid nitrogen storage tanks, vaporizers corresponding to the flow rate, and pressure regulating valves corresponding to the pressure, which are necessary initial investments.
